Draft King Analysis

Oakland bulked up on its offensive line in a major way, landing perhaps the most sure-fire player in the draft (Robert Gallery) and then securing its center position with Jake Grove, who has the attitude fitting of an Oakland Raiders. Landing Schweigert in the third round was a nice move, as he was a good value pick there. Francis and Morant as 4th and 5th round picks respectively at WR are interesting, but whom better to learn under than Jerry Rice and Tim Brown?

The Raiders did not address their RB situation in the draft. They could pick up a free agent RB, or perhaps they believe that a Tyrone Wheatley/Justin Fargus combo will work for them in 2004 behind a revamped o-line.
