Your killing me man!!!

Lou: Nothing personal to 49ers fans with the very early projection on the 2005 Mock Draft... It's merely a projection. But without Jeff Garcia or Terrell Owens, I'm worried about the 49ers' chances in 2004, even if they do a good job in the 2004 Draft.

Subject: Dallas draft

No way dallas takes Greg Jones in the first round, besides Steven Jackson the rest, Jones,Jones, and Perry are second round backs. Michael Turner, Tatum Bell and Maurice Clarett in the third round, try again, think offensive and/or defensive line, rb in the second, then cb, but always, always best available, even if it a wr

Lou: I really like the idea of Chris Perry ending up with the Dallas Cowboys, though I suspect that the Detroit Lions will snag Perry in Round 2 before the Cowboys can get a shot at him there.

However, Greg Jones is nothing to sneeze at, either. He's a massive running back who would be able to start right away for the Cowboys. Physically intimidating, he plays hard and runs over DBs in the secondary. I could see Dallas trading down later in the first round and then selecting Jones there.

Subject: Braylon Edwards 05 Draft WR from Michigan?

Could have just been an oversight.

Senior (to be)

6'31/2"

212lbs

4.41 40 yds

85 catches 1153 yds 14 TD in 03

Would have been late 1st round 04

Just Curious/Thought you'd like to know

Lou: The big knock on Braylon Edwards is that he drops an inordinate amount of passes. To cut it on the next level, he will have to eliminate that from his game in 2004.

One thing working in Edwards' favor is that Larry Fitzgerald and Mike Williams both came out into the 2004 Draft. While this year's draft is ridiculously deep at WR, next year's may be much softer at that spot. Given Edwards credit for evaluating the landscape and opting to return to Michigan for his Senior season. In theory that should work to Edwards' advantage, particuarly if he can hold onto the ball with regularity. If that's the case, he could earn himself a spot in the first round of the 2005 Draft.
