Subject: cowboys

I was taking a glance at your 2005 nfl mock draft and you must of forgot that the cowboys get the bills first round pick. Also do you onestly think Marlin Jackson will fall that far? I would love to have him on the cowboys because im a fan myself but hes better then that.

Lou: The error on the draft list is now corrected. As for Jackson, he's trying to readjust to playing cornerback after playing safety last season. He played very well in 2002, but ran into both legal trouble and injury problems in 2003. Right now I see him as a mid-range first round pick, but a strong 2004 season could move him up to the #2 spot (it would take something really special for him to leapfrog Antrel Rolle). The jury is still out on how some of the other top corners (like Corey Webster) will do without the supporting cast they had last season, and Jackson will have a chance to prove himself in Ann Arbor. The notion of an already strong Dallas secondary adding Jackson is downright scary, but it is not outside the realm of possibility.
